What Relo2France is

Relo2France organizes the official requirements for Americans moving to France, in the order you will meet them. The guides are free to read. Membership adds a member portal: a plan dated from your move, your own dossier (and one for each family member with the Family add-on), documents drafted from your details, an assistant that answers about your situation, location reports from Explore France, and a Schengen day tracker.

It is information, not advice

Everything on the site and in the portal is general information. It is not legal, immigration, tax or financial advice, and using it does not create a lawyer–client or any other professional relationship.

Relo2France is not affiliated with the French government, any French consulate, France-Visas, TLScontact or any other authority. Decisions on visas, residence permits, tax and healthcare are made by those authorities alone, and we cannot promise any outcome.

French requirements change, and they vary by consulate and by prefecture. We re-check our sources regularly, but you should confirm anything you rely on with the official source or your consulate, and for your specific circumstances consult an immigration lawyer, a tax professional or a notaire.

AI features

The assistant, document checks, drafted letters and location reports are produced with AI (Anthropic’s Claude). AI can be wrong or out of date. Read everything it produces before you use it, and check facts that matter against the official source. You are responsible for any document you sign or submit.

Your membership

Membership costs $99, paid once. It gives lifetime access to the member portal: access for as long as Relo2France operates the service, with no subscription and no renewal fee. When you buy, you buy from Link, LLC, a Stripe company, which acts as the seller (merchant of record) through Stripe Managed Payments. Link’s own terms cover the payment: it takes the payment, holds your card details, calculates, collects and files any sales tax or VAT, sends your receipt and handles chargebacks. These Terms cover your use of Relo2France. If these Terms and Link’s terms conflict about payment, Link’s terms apply. Checkout shows the total, including any tax, before you pay, and your card statement shows LINK.COM* RELO2FRANCE. We never see or store your full card number.

The Family add-on costs $35, paid once, on top of membership, for one partner and up to four children. It gives each of them a file of their own and your partner their own sign-in.

If you dispute a payment with your bank instead of asking us, Link handles the dispute. We may pause what that payment paid for while the dispute is open. If the dispute is decided against you, what it paid for ends, as it does after a full refund.

In the EU and the UK you also have a statutory right to withdraw within 14 days of buying. Nothing in these Terms reduces your statutory rights.

The Schengen day tracker

Schengen day counting is provided inside the portal by MyTravelStatus, another service of The Burrowbridge Group, LLC, the company that runs Relo2France, which is why it is included in your membership at no extra cost while it is active. It opens without a separate sign-in, and it counts only what you enter: we cannot see where you have been unless you record it.

It is a counter, not a legal ruling. Border officers decide whether a stay was lawful, and you are responsible for the dates you enter. Once your French visa or residence permit starts, your days in France stop counting toward the 90-in-180 limit, and days in other Schengen countries still count.

It holds your travel information in the European Union, uses it only to count your days, and the privacy notice says exactly what it receives. If your membership ends, the tracker closes and the data is removed as the privacy notice describes.

Your account

Give accurate information, keep your sign-in details to yourself, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. A membership is for you. With the Family add-on it covers your household: you, a partner you invite to share the file, and up to four children. Do not share access beyond that.

You keep ownership of everything you enter or upload. You allow us to store and process it only to run the service for you, as the privacy notice describes.

Fair use

Please do not:

• copy, scrape or resell the guides or the knowledge base
• try to get into another member’s file or interfere with the service
• upload anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to share
• use the assistant to produce false documents or mislead any authority

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the portal; this permanently removes your file. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why.

Our responsibility

We work to keep the service accurate and available, but it is provided as it is, without guarantees that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the information or tools, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

Which law applies

The Burrowbridge Group, LLC is a South Dakota limited liability company and runs Relo2France from the United States. These terms are governed by the law of the State of South Dakota, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute goes to the state or federal courts sitting in South Dakota.

If you live somewhere whose consumer law gives you rights that cannot be signed away, you keep them: this section does not take away a protection your own country grants you, or the right to bring a claim where the law says you may.

Changes

If we change these terms we will update this page and its date. For a significant change we will also tell members by email or in the portal.
